PMI Nashville Help
Below you will find answers to some of the frequently asked questions submitted to PMI Nashville
1.  I am a member of PMI Nashville but when I register for an event I receive the guest rate instead of the member rate.  Why?

Answer:  The first thing is to check and make sure you are using the email address that is on file with PMI Global when registering for the event.  Many member have multiple records in our database using different email addresses.  Using an email address other than the one on file with PMI Global will result in receiving the member rate.  Second, check to make sure you membership has not expired and that you are in fact a member of the local chapter as well.  To be a member of the local chapter, you would have paid an additional $20 on top of your PMI Global yearly dues.

2.  I just became a member of PMI Global and the local Nashville Chapter and when registering for an event I received the guest rate.  Why?

Answer:  There is a lag of up to 5 business days between the time you join with PMI Global and the time we receive the data file from PMI Global.  Just contact us and let us know that you recently joined.  Having a copy of your email receipt from PMI Global will speed up the process.

3. How do I become a member of the local PMI Nashville Chapter?

6.  I've registered for a PMI Nashville event, but I need to cancel.  What are your refund policies?

Answer:  For most of our events, we must lock and guarantee a number of people for the event.  We use the online registration process to finalized this number with our vendor partners.  As a result, if we do not assess a penalty for late cancellations, we lose money on each of these cancellations.   Each event has a refund policy that is posted.  Please read the policy for each event to ensure that you are aware of the cancellation deadlines and the penalties assessed for late cancellation.
