COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our company is a dynamic and rapidly growing Laboratory Software company located in Nashville, TN.  By developing our LIMS product 100% in-house it allows us to give consistent quality to our customers and implement an application that is flexible enough to server multiple industries.  We market LIMS products to the public health, toxicology and clinical laboratory environments across the US and Caribbean.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Laboratory Implementation Analyst / Trainer
  • Utilize project management skills including preparing and maintaining work-plans, coordinating project activities, monitoring quality of deliverables.
  • Utilize core knowledge to perform analysis of laboratory workflow to determine appropriate recommendation to optimize use of LIMS.
  • Configuration / definition of local (client specific ) laboratory test procedures within LIMS.
  • Develop implementation aids such as training manuals, job aids, and test scripts.
  • Provides training for clients on LIMS product. Modifies training delivery and curriculum to meet the client’s unique needs.
  • Provides support of LIMS during implementation phase.
  • Work is performed on client site.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree in one of the following: Laboratory Medical Technology, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics – strong relevant experience with alternate BA/BS degree will be considered
  • Preference given to: previous experience in installation of laboratory information systems –and/or- strong working knowledge of laboratory operations (i.e. Microbiology, Chemistry, Immunology, Toxicology and other areas of the laboratory).
  • Strong analytic skills required.  Database experience, SQL, Reporting tools (i.e. Crystal Reports), HL7 experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, to include effective listening, facilitation, interviewing, and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex information in easy to understand terms both in writing and verbally.
  • Must adapt to varied situations and multi-task during complex implementations with varied priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to delegate and willingness to seek accountability for agreed upon services, products, reports, and timeliness.
  • Self directed and motivated.  Willing to learn new skills and programming requirements for implementations.
  • Willing to work towards PMP certification.
