Job Description : A local client has the need for a PMO Analyst for a 3-6 month contract with extensions. This position will be assisting the PMO in its daily functions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Program Financial and Reporting Support
• Support PMO Reporting
• Lead and support continuous process improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-3 years PMO Analyst experience
• BA/BS preferably in engineering, business or computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) practices
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) project management processes
• Execute exceptional written, presentation and verbal communications skills.
• Microsoft Excel advanced skills interfacing, creating pivot tables, and charting.
• Provide strong writing skills (Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word)
• Proven ability to organize and execute assigned tasks with little supervision
• Proven ability to learn quickly and readily apply into differing contexts.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work analytically in a fast paced, problem-solving environment
• Ability to communicate with various levels of leadership and internal support teams
• Provide acute attention to detail
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and participate as a team member
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
